Nothing, the London-based tech startup founded by Carl Pei in 2020, has built a reputation for transparent designs and clean software experiences. The Phone 4b is the latest in the company's 'b' series, which has historically targeted budget-conscious consumers in emerging markets like India. However, the Phone 4b's pricing leap — over ₹5,000 higher than its predecessor, the Phone 3b — signals a strategic shift. The Phone 4b runs Nothing OS 3.0 based on Android 16, offering three years of major OS updates and four years of security patches.
