UFC 330, set for August 15 at the Wells Fargo Center, will feature a lightweight title fight between reigning champion Islam Makhachev and unbeaten contender Ian Machado Garry, plus a women's strawweight championship clash between Mackenzie Dern and Gillian Robertson.

The event marks the UFC's first trip to the City of Brotherly Love since 2018. White made the announcement during a press conference streamed on UFC's social channels, emphasizing the stacked card as a reward for a loyal fan base that has been craving a major event in the Northeast corridor. "Philly deserves a massive night, and we're giving them two title fights," White said.

Makhachev, who has dominated the lightweight division since dethroning Charles Oliveira in 2022, enters the octagon with a 27-1 record and a nine-fight winning streak. His opponent, Ian Machado Garry, is an undefeated 17-0 prospect from Ireland who has rapidly climbed the rankings after victories over Geoff Neal and Michael “Venom” Page. The matchup pits Makhachev's elite grappling and fight IQ against Garry's precision striking and unorthodox movement—a classic style clash that could determine the future of the 155-pound division.

In the co-main event, women's strawweight champion Mackenzie Dern (16-3) puts her belt on the line against the surging Gillian Robertson (11-4).
